Kennels & Cattery Assistant Required for a very busy boarding Kennels & Cattery .
We are looking for physically fit & capable candidates with at least one year Previous experience of working with Animals of all natures .Candidates must also be able to understand their temperaments and needs and deal with any situation in a calm and controlled manner . Having a passion of animals is a must and should come naturally to our ideal candidates.
Early morning / Afternoon shifts ,Excellent timekeeping & having a flexible attitude & common sense is a must in this role as the seven days a week business requires this, Must have an ability to work to timescales , also must have initiative & be sociable , enthusiastic & confident to ensure a smooth running boarding experience for all our fur baby guest .
applicants must also be flexible to work on bank holidays,( Easter, Christmas etc. )
Shifts run 7 days a week & are generally run from :
7 am - 12 pm
2 pm - 6 pm
Duties to include:
Cleaning kennels & pens
Able to handle all breeds / Sizes / Nature's of cats & dogs
Exercising / Socialising dogs
Administrating Medication
Basic Grooming
Feeding of Animals
Guest photography
Customer service
Site cleaning & care
