Kennel Assistant Brigg, England
Job description
We are looking to appoint a kennel assistant for our busy boarding and stray dog kennels.
You will need to be reliable, flexible and physically active as it is a demanding job requiring lots of energy! The days are long and you will be working outdoors in all weathers.
Your duties will include cleaning and maintaining the kennels to uphold our high standards of hygiene, preparing food and feeding, exercising, administering medication, brushing and bathing dogs. Full training will be given to enable you to follow our routines and policies.
There will be a minimum 38 hours per week and days will include weekends and bank holidays. Our working day is 7am - 5pm and this is not negotiable. Candidates must be flexible with days and will be able to meet demand for example working more hours to cover holidays or during our busy periods.
Essentials: physically fit, active, confident around all breeds/sizes of dog, able to follow instructions, good team player
Desirable: previous kennel experience, qualification in animal care, driving license
