We're looking for an individual with a genuine love of animals who is dedicated to our mission and will work well with our team. The Kennel Assistant will be responsible for feeding the dogs, walking them, cleaning the kennels, and providing medical care to dogs who need it. We seek a Kennel Assistant with a solid understanding of dog behaviour and their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Feed and walk dogs daily.
- Assist dog owners with grooming, feeding and exercise schedules.
- Maintain kennel environment according to animal welfare standards.
- Clean kennels and other facilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Horley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
