Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a caring, compassionate, hardworking, motivated, reliable, efficient time keeper and overall team player, to join our small friendly & fun boarding kennel and cattery team!

Our top priority is to ensure all beloved animals entrusted into our care, have a wonderful holiday of their own, in a home away from home environment!

The successful applicant must have 2 years relevant animal care experience in a similar environment OR a minimum qualification related to Animal Care / Welfare Level 3 or above.

The applicant should be comfortable in handling dogs, both great & small, as well as cats. Daily duties include cleaning kennel & cattery chalets & general cleaning duties, monitoring behaviour & wellbeing, feeding animals, and providing plenty of TLC and daily enrichment, to ensure all precious pets are looked after to the standard we expect for our own pets care.

Excellent customer service skills are also important, as the job entails customer interaction

The successful applicant will be required to work every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday Sunday at a minimum.

The hours may also vary/ increase depending on the time of year and for staff holiday cover and some Bank Holidays.

Flexibility is also preferable, as in the event of sickness you may also be called upon last minute to cover another member of the team, to ensure highest welfare standards and care for all animals. We hope that the successful applicant will be a part of our team for many years to come.

Transport is also essential as we are rurally located.

  • Ringwood: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
