About us
Our goal is to Crash Media Group is an online sports publisher and digital media agency based in central London. It owns some of the biggest websites in F1, MotoGP, motorsports, golf, and motorcycling, which receive more than 3.5M visitors a month, generating 16M+ monthly page views, with more than 1M social media followers.
Crash Media Group is looking for a creative Junior Video Editor who is passionate about video storytelling to work on our Visordown, Crash MotoGP, Crash F1, GolfMagic and Car Throttle brands.
Our successful applicant will play an important role in the creation of regular, repeatable formats, and ensuring that the work we do adheres to the highest standards to make sure that we are consistent as well as compelling.
The person we are looking for is immersed in social media and you are across the latest trends in video production and editing. You will be part of a team that loves motorsport, bikes, cars and sport and operates to regular scheduling so excellent communication and planning skills are also essential.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge and experience video editing using Premiere Pro and creating basic graphics in After Effects.
- Knowledge of audio mixing and sound design.
- Basic colour grading
- Be able to follow and edit to scripts and also be able to create video structures independently.
- Managing projects as well as ingesting, organising and archiving footage.
- Understanding what works in different video platforms. From TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, to YouTube and Twitch.
- Be able to understand the full creative process of an edit workflow. From pre-production and planning, to filming, to editing to releasing.
Nice To Have
- Knowledge and experience of using wider Adobe Creative Cloud softwares, Photoshop etc
- Experience filming and using the latest cameras and technology
- Knowledge of YouTube and analytics behind videos
- A valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities
- Work with the video team and journalists/presenters to deliver and optimise regular high-end and entertaining video edits for the Visordown, Crash MotoGP and Crash F1 YouTube channels and you may be asked to work on GolfMagic and Car Throttle videos.
- You may also be required to join video shoots and film but this is predominantly an editing position.
- Researching images, videos and music that fits within the edits you are creating.
- Project management and scheduling.
- Proofreading and reviewing scripts and video content.
- Delivering content on time to fit with client requests and deadlines.
- Collaborating with people beyond the video team.
