Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior UX/UI Developer with a strong background in WordPress to join our dynamic team. As a UX/UI Developer for the Rob Moore brand, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user-centric web experiences that align with our brand and business goals. Your expertise in WordPress development and a keen eye for aesthetics and usability will contribute to creating engaging and visually appealing websites that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and content creators to translate business requirements and design concepts into intuitive, user-friendly WordPress websites.
- Design and implement responsive and accessible user interfaces, focusing on delivering seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
- Develop custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to enhance website functionality and meet specific project requirements.
- Apply a user-centred design approach to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs, ensuring continuous user experience improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design trends, WordPress updates, and industry best practices to propose innovative solutions and enhance the overall quality of our digital products.
- Collaborate with SEO experts to ensure designs are optimized for search engines and follow best practices for on-page SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues and bugs, working closely with the development team to implement necessary fixes.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites and membership website, ensuring consistent branding, visual design, and user experience.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Web Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in UX/UI design and WordPress development.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your proficiency in creating user-centred designs, custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, focusing on creating clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles to ensure consistent user experiences across devices.
- Solid understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar applications.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices to create websites that are optimized for search engines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering pixel-perfect designs and a seamless user experience.

Preferred:
- Experience with additional content management systems (CMS) beyond WordPress.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in designing inclusive user interfaces.
