What you will do:
As a junior UI/UX designer, your role is to provide valuable support across a range of design tasks. From assisting developers and ensuring smooth project implementation to creating user-centric designs for multiple devices, you will play an integral part in enhancing the overall user experience.
- Providing dedicated support on various tasks, typically allocating one day per week for this purpose.
- Collaborating as an integral member of a project team, providing valuable support to a primary mid or senior designer.
- Assisting developers by providing necessary assets and addressing design-related queries to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Expanding screen designs and creating variations, including empty states and placeholders, to enhance the overall user experience.
- Adapting screen designs from desktop to mobile, ensuring seamless usability across different devices.
- Managing smaller tasks within a project, such as implementing new features and incorporating client feedback or iterating on design revisions.
- Creating internal decks for sales materials and presentations to support marketing and business development initiatives.
- Contributing to promotional internal tasks, such as designing t-shirts, postcards, and other collateral materials.
- Providing support for marketing activities, including designing blog banners and providing web design assistance.
- Share your creative ideas and design concepts with the team, fostering open communication and leveraging collective expertise to enhance your projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design
- 1 year of demonstrable experience in designing user interfaces and graphics for web and mobile apps
- Online or PDF portfolio
- Organised, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
- A great understanding of brand guidelines & design principles for offline and online media
- Knowledge in Adobe and Figma
