JOB OVERVIEW: Junior / Graduate / Trainee Electro-Mechanical Technician / Engineer sought by exciting market leading R&D microelectronics systems company (PLC) who provide pioneering electro-mechanical solutions to the automotive and aviation sectors including household name customers!
Contract type: Permanent
Salary : £23K-£28K basic plus share options plus bonus, pension, health, dental, life, free parking etc.
Location: Bicester office 5 days per week.
Start date - Flexible
Working conditions: Normal office and light workshop environment.
A result of ongoing growth my client has an exciting new vacancy for an enthusiastic Graduate / Trainee / Junior Electro-Mechanical Technician. You will work with more experienced Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Mechanical Design Engineers within their R&D engineering function which specialises in small-quantity manufacture / production of proof of concept microelectronics systems prototypes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to embark on or continue their career within electro-mechanical engineering and specifically within the micro-electronics sector.
You will assist in the manufacturing of cutting edge micro-electronics products for the automotive and aviation sectors - my client's customers are household names that you will know!
You will be working with a world-class team of R&D electro-mechanical engineers who are highly motivated to share their extensive knowledge with you such that you can grow in this field and progress rapidly.
Duties will include assisting with all activities associated with calibration, instrumentation, measurement, testing, working with mechanical test rigs,along with reporting and support mechanical design engineering activities. You will also provide support to customer prototype evaluation activities, assist with R&D, work to ISO 9001 quality standards, maintain resources/stock and inventory and MUCH MORE!
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Aspiring Junior / Trainee / Graduate electro-mechanical technical /engineer
- Your academic strengths, achievements and interests will be within mechanical engineering / technical / technology / design
- Willingness to be hands-on and wishing to work with manufacturing machinery in a workshop environment.
- Ability to accurately describe ideas and results so they can be put in a technical report.
- Team player with the ability to work accurately under pressure with minimal supervision and maximum enthusiasm to ensure customer satisfaction with the company’s products.
- Possess good communication, IT and reporting skills.
