Junior Test/ QA engineer £30,000 Remote
Job description
I have a great position in for a Junior Test/ QA Engineer/ Junior Software Tester to join my client, with the opportunity to work remotely and just pop into their office in Wiltshire once every few months.
They are an established software house who have been doing incredibly well. Their tech team has trebled in the last 3 years and they have substantial growth planned. They have an established test team of 3, wth another Junior soon to start and are now looking to take on another Junior tester as they continue to grow the team to 5. You’ll get involved in manual testing across their web based platform as well as have the opportunity to learn automation. They currently have automation in place with Playwright and are looking for someone eager to learn automation who they can take under their wing and develop in this area. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with some testing experience who is looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
You’ll get to work in an agile environment working closely with the wider development team, writing and executing tests and help with the support and maintenance of test plans. It’s a genuinely great opportunity for someone to develop their skills. Their ideal person will have some commercial experience of software testing, be a good people person as the role will involve working closely with other members of the team, and most of all be eager to learn
