Overview
The Newton Investment Management Group describes a group of affiliated companies that provide investment advisory services under the brand name ‘Newton’ or ‘Newton Investment Management’. Those companies are Newton Investment Management Ltd, registered in the UK, and Newton Investment Management North America LLC, registered in the US, and both are indirect subsidiaries of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (‘BNY Mellon’).

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will work with various business areas to produce new business pitch presentations, client review packs and a variety of other marketing materials and internal communications that are professional, accurate and compelling in both content and design.
This role gives an opportunity to build strong marketing, product and regulatory knowledge and provides an excellent introduction to asset management and the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake the day-to-day work of the presentations & design team and demonstrate a continuous process improvement approach.
Provide support to the team to ensure that all allocated work and incoming issues are dealt with without risk to the company, in an efficient manner and to the satisfaction of all internal and external clients. Examples of responsibilities the successful candidate is likely to be involved in are:
Exercising the timely updates of standard fund/strategy presentations. Facilitating the production of client presentation packs and new business pitch packs using data provided by the portfolio management support, performance and risk teams.
Creating and updating tables and charts using MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Demonstrate compelling design ideas in presentations and other marketing collateral (brochures, articles, banners, etc.) using PowerPoint and Adobe packages (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) following existing templates and brand guidelines.
Represent the team in meetings (internal and external) when required and demonstrate effective relationships with other Newton and BNY Mellon areas.
Provide support to the other team / department members and contribute to key business strategic projects and initiatives.
Experience and qualifications required:
Strong working knowledge of MS Office 365 suite (mainly PowerPoint and Excel)
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (mainly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat)
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic and communication design or similar.
Previous internship or placement in the financial sector is desirable but not mandatory.
