We now have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Space Planner to join our High Street Space & Display Planning team at our Support Centre in Swindon.
The main purpose of a Junior Space Planner is to support the many different tasks within the Space Planning team, working cross functionally with other areas of the High Street business. This role would suit someone with a keen interest in space planning, visual merchandising, space analytics and has a good eye for detail.
What you will be doing
- Accountability for the planning, administration and maintenance of off fixture display units in High Street stores
- Supporting with the ongoing administration of the ranging system
- Supporting the Display Planning team in some aspects of the planogram development and creation (including live builds)
- Providing occasional physical support in maintaining in the Greenbridge Merchandising centre
- Being able to manage own workload
What we are looking for
- You will ideally have a retail background, with instore experience
- PC literate, confident with Excel and other Microsoft packages
- This role requires commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to create and maintain effective relationships both inside and outside of a team
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment working to tight deadlines
