We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Junior Sous Chef in The Halyard in Rope Walks Liverpool. As part of our opening team. About The Halyard at Ropewalks Liverpool, Vignette Collection A 133 bedroom hotel due to open in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool, one of the UK’s hippest areas, the perfect place for IHG’s Luxury Lifestyle brand. The hotel will feature a smart restaurant and bar, and we’ve located the gym, the meeting room and the suites on the top floor to take advantage of the amazing views of this vibrant city from their balconies. Working closely alongside a highly skilled Head Chef & Sous Chef who are willing to pass on their culinary expertise and aims to push their team to the best of their ability – this is the perfect role for a Junior Sous Chef who is pursuing progression. Responsibilities: Run a section and support Sous Chef / Head Chef Prepare and present food to the required high standard Stock control/ordering Health & Safety/Food hygiene Requirements: Experience as Chef working with fresh produce Excellent communication skills A willingness to learn and progress Passionate about food Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level This is a great opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef to work in an eclectic and trendy restaurant with fresh seasonal ingredients and under an experienced and fun Head Chef. The ideal Chef must have fine dining experience of at least 2 years at a minimum of Senior Chef de Partie level, have a good attitude, ambitions to learn and progress, and be a team player.
