About the role
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will:

    Work in our tech teams to deliver features that add value to our customers
    Advocate simplicity to solve complex problems
    Understand how our customers interact with our products
    Working with agile methodologies and lean thinking methods
    Present your findings and make recommendations to improve business performance
    Contribute to Comparethemarket by sharing knowledge, collaborating with ideas, and findings

You’ll:

    Have Maths and English Language GCSE's Grades A*-C / 4-9 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards functional skills) - Essential Government requirement
    NOT hold a similar qualification at the same level or higher (Level 4/Degree) within the same sector
    Be legally allowed to work in the U.K. and have been a U.K resident for over the last 3 years
    Be over the age of 18 when you would join the business (24th May 23)
    Be enthusiastic individual, who’s self-motivated and proactive
    Be an active learner, both within your technical and professional areas of expertise, taking control of your own career development
    Have excellent communication skills with the drive to contribute to a team
    Be naturally inquisitive with creative problem-solving skills
    Have a true passion for technology & coding
