We are pleased to be able to offer an amazing opportunity for a Junior software developer to join our family run business.
We can offer you involvement in developing exciting bespoke software projects across the country in the manufacturing and recycling industry as part of a small software development team.

Please do not apply if you cannot travel to Longridge, Preston to work. You will also be required to visit sites around the country from time to time.
You will be required to provide 1st line support for clients on issues relevant to the software team.

Skills / experience:
Ideally you will hold a computer science / IT software degree at least 2:1 however in lieu of a degree or relevant work experience self-taught applicants with a portfolio of evidence demonstrating an aptitude for and an understanding of fundamental software development principles will also be considered.
Required:
An understanding of OOP principles
A good understanding of / Experience using Java or C#
A good understanding of / Experience using REST api’s, JSON, Postman
A good understanding of / Experience using Document databases
Beneficial:
A good understanding of / Experience using BASIC family languages i.e. VB
You will have a positive can do attitude and be eager learn and to develop your skills further.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
