As Kaboodle moves into its next phase of rapid growth and development, we are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our QA team and help us ramp up our QA capacity.
Who are you:
You are an ambitious Junior QA Engineer with some commercial manual test experience. You’re looking for an opportunity to join a company where you can further your career and level of experience and you have a desire to take responsibility for driving your growth and development. You Will:
- Plan, produce and execute test cases and check results to ensure the system's technical and functional requirements are met.
- Work closely with and aid the development team to ensure resolution of recorded issues.
- Carry out manual functional, regression and scalability testing
- Test in different environments including web and mobile
- Nurture a genuine interest in our software and keep yourself continually up to date with best practice and innovation in testing
- Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
- Work with software developers and project support teams
- Attend Scrum meetings, track and ensure the defects are closed using JIRA
What we’re looking for:
- Manual testing experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with automated testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, K6, Postman would be advantageous and desirable.
We are currently working mostly remote, with teams heading to our little office in Ancoats around once per week for specific, collaborative meetings that are more effective in person. We value flexibility and are trusted to work from wherever we feel most productive.
