The Role:

  • To directly manage multiple products from conception through to production, working closely with our project managers, engineers, marketing and product integrity teams to do so
  • To create and develop excellent replica and toy products against marketing strategy
  • To liaise with licensors throughout the development process to ensure highly accurate replica products

The person:

Growth and diversity is at the heart of TOMY’s future, so you must feel at home working in a team where two days are never the same. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a good knowledge of materials and the manufacturing process, especially for plastics and die-cast. Knowledge of utilising and interpretation of CAD data; or a replica toy development background would be highly desired, but is not essential
  • Have previous experience in a product development/project management role or be a graduate of a product development degree
  • Have excellent project management aptitude with the ability to work on multiple complex projects with a professional approach
  • Be highly organised and have an exceptional eye for detail
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to comfortably present to stakeholders
  • Display strong initiative, problem solving and resourcefulness
  • Have the ability to work independently
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Be eager to learn and welcome new challenges
  • Have an interest in collectable die cast vehicles (highly desirable)
  • Display a ‘playing to win’ attitude

The ideal candidate will be a tenacious and reliable individual, who is a willing team player. You will be confident in communicating at all levels and willing to act with the company’s interests at heart.

TOMY offers a hybrid working approach, which allows employees to benefit from working 40% of their working time from home. Full-time attendance in our Brooklands office will be required for the initial training period, to enable the successful candidate to gain the relevant skills needed for the role.

We are looking for people who are passionate about being part of a diverse team, where different backgrounds, experience and opinions are valued and incorporated into our daily work.
