Job purpose
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day Project Management support when necessary to the Commodity Operations team.- Organise and chair, where required meetings relating to projects with both internal and external stakeholders and of varied seniorities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive core project documentation across the project portfolio.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors through frequent communication to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Facilitate requirements gathering processes to ensure all project deliverables are captured and clearly defined prior to the project commencing.
- Completing any tasks assigned by the Operations Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
Advanced competency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).- Competent with Project Management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and Trello.
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, capable of confidently producing and distributing global and sensitive communications to varied audiences.
- Ability to listen to your stakeholder audience and respond in a professional manner.
- Ability to think quickly and creatively when presented with challenges and risks to deescalate their impact on a project.
- Be adaptable to a rapidly changing business.
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall frameworks and project management terminology.
- Basic understanding of how the financial services industry operates.
- Previous experience within a project management role.
Qualifications
- Degree Level or Equivalent.
- Project Management certifications such as APM, Prince2 (F+P), Agile or Scrum are highly desirable but not essential.
