About the Role
We are seeking a talented full-time Junior Project Manager to join our developing team. This role will report to the Senior Project Manager.
Purpose of a Junior Project Manager
Random42 is looking for a brilliant (Junior) Project Manager to manage a range of immersive high-science medical projects from animations to interactive experiences, seeing them through from the time the sales team wins the pitch, to final delivery.
They will act as the key point of contact, owning project schedules and managing the workflow through Science and Production. Representing a supportive approach to work internally, and an efficient client focus externally will be important for this role.
Responsibilities of a Junior Project Manager
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with different departments and teams
- Discusses the scope of the project internally with the Science and Production teams
- Background knowledge and brief are communicated effectively
- Keeps track of project workflow, steps, and communication with clients
- Maintains and oversees the organisation and filing of project documentation and deliverables
- Develops and maintains production timelines with multiple review rounds
- Lead on internal calls – team briefs, internal calls, and day-to-day communication with the Science and Production teams
- Facilitates client calls for feedback and review and assembles relevant teams together
- Provides updates on the status of projects to the Science and Account teams
- Builds a positive relationship throughout the project process
- Handles inquiries from clients/partners clearly, efficiently, and in a timely manner
- Defers to senior members of the team as needed
- Quality control assurance of projects before they go out the door
Essential Skills or Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail/quality control skills
- Strong communication skills: both listening and notetaking
- Minimum BSc level equivalent science qualification
- Some experience in a client services business setting would be preferable, but not essential

Working Hours
Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 (35 hours per week plus one-hour unpaid lunch break per day). Unless otherwise specified, these will be the contracted hours for the role.
