Junior/Trainee Project Manager

Fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work within a fast paced and exciting construction team with developments across the South Coast.
Kingsley Housing is looking for a trainee project manager to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be either just starting out in their career or fresh to the industry and looking to develop in construction. If you have a keen interest in construction and have a proven record of excellent organisational skills, we want to hear from you!
The Role
· Report to and support the Construction Manager & Company Director with all admin surrounding the builds. Including materials stock take, reviewing spend with 3rd parties and ensuring we’re getting what we pay for.
· Assist Construction Manager and act as a point of contact for subcontractors, clients, and planning where directed.
· Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
· Assist with procurement, quotations and placing orders. Order materials as required.
· Filing on behalf of the Construction Manager.
· Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
Requirements
· Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
· Previous experience is not essential, full training will be provided on the job.
· Ambitious – keen to run own projects in the near future
· An understanding of construction and refurbishment would be beneficial
· Must have a driving licence and own transport.
· Highly organised and able to multitask, must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
