We are currently recruiting a Junior Project Manager to support project management activity within the Program Management Project team on a variety of tasks, including the development and maintenance of contractor SOWs, proposal generation and maintenance of various project trackers such as action logs, level 1 plans and Risk and Opportunity logs. The successful candidate(s) will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our client and will be expected to be proactive and self-motivated in delivering the targeted outputs to support the product.

Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting multiple project managers
  • Providing project office administration support on commercial engagements. Works on small low risk and low complexity projects.
  • Generation of Low Complexity Project Proposals,
  • Generation of Contractor SOWs
  • Supporting the project management team in understanding the client agenda and issues.
  • Reporting information, identifying trends and exceptions. Solicits guidance to define criteria and to assign values of importance and urgency.
  • Builds reporting/status updates, agenda stakeholder and owner meetings, facilitates other meetings, monitors and drives overall project plan. Tracks risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and follows up.
  • Maintaining project documents and other information in the project repository ensuring easy access and usability by the project team.
  • Co-ordinating project resource changes, including space, equipment, and update of project documentation (team lists, organisation charts, etc.).
  • Planning and manages own time and work, contributing to overall on-time and on-budget project goals.
  • Maintaining the status of project responsibilities and work across teams to achieve group goals. Documents meeting notes and activities.

  • Strong project management skills to drive multi disciplines to support deliverables
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Strong people skills / ability to manage others as applicable
Experience:
  • Experience in an equivalent role
  • Good understanding of program planning principles and strategic drivers
  • Ability to lead projects and delegate/manage tasks
  • Management and understanding of local and corporate processes
  • Ability to communicate across management levels on a global basis
  • Confident in understanding other functions and challenging data where appropriate
