About the Company
Fantastic opportunity for a Construction Management or Engineering professional to work with a leading Subcontractor on commercial projects.
This role is suitable for ambitious engineers who want to progress into site management.
The Role
· Report to and support the Project Manager & Company Director.
· Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
· Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
· Manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
· Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and report any issues to senior management in a prompt and timely manner.
· Order materials as required.
· Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
Requirements
· A Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
· Ideally will have completed 2-3 years post graduate Main Contractor or Subcontractor but not essential.
· Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
· Ambitious – keen to run own projects in the near future.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £25,000.00 per year
