Joining the Projects team and reporting to the Head of Projects, the Junior Project Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day grant funded projects, providing support to the Head of Projects and Technical team to prepare project deliverables


Job Description


Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage day-to-day grant funded projects, including updating project plans and chairing regular meetings with technical team.
  • Problem solving with technical team to support project delivery, monitoring project progress against timeline, budget and updating risk registers.
  • Support technical team and Senior Project Manager preparing project deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project results to third parties, including clients, project partners and grant funding bodies
  • Support Senior Project Manager to write grant funding applications

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Technical background in engineering or the sciences
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Confident in engaging with stakeholders to deliver project results
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly motivated to work towards delivering Net Zero

Qualifications
  • Educated to degree standard (or equivalent) with an interest in technology, renewable energy and sustainability
  • Demonstrable experience of a similar role
