About the Digital Transformation Consulting (DTC) practice at Atos

Who we are looking for
As part of our growth strategy in the UK, we are looking to expand Digital Transformation Consulting’s Project and Programme Management (PPM) team and build a team of professionals with the expertise to deliver successful projects and programmes for our customers.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic candidate with experience in project management and the defence sector to join the team.
As a Subject Matter Expert you will improve not only your own skills and reputation but also that of Atos. As part of the PPM practice you will also be responsible for contributing to the PPM community, sharing learning and developing collateral for use by others.
You will work as part of a team in a project management or control role. it may be establishing a service from scratch or running and improving an existing function.
You will have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving and be able to plan and control your own work. You will also need to be able to build positive relationships with partners and clients and ensure robust delivery across your engagements.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a key client and we are specifically looking for individuals with experience in and a desire to work in the defence sector.
Crucial skills and experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in Project management /controls managing project plans, risks, issues and dependencies and project reporting.
- Experience working in central government preferably MOD.
- Team player.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including good presentation skills and the ability to produce presentations in a user friendly manner.
- Resilience and ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Good stakeholder relationship skills.
- Prince2/APM/Agile/SAFe or similar PPM qualifications.
- Working with O365 products.
Desirable criteria:
- An understanding of MOD structures, governance and how the Ministry manages its teams.
- An interest in, and ideally experience of, digital technologies and their application to enhance business performance and create competitive advantage in defence.
- Knowledge of both waterfall and agile delivery.
- Experience working in a consultancy project.
- Working with Project online/P6.
- RAIDO experience.
A preference will be for candidates who live in the southwest of England, as this is predominantly where we anticipate the individual will be required to work. However, all roles in Consulting normally require travel to varying work locations (predominantly in, but not confined to, the UK) on an as-required basis and successful candidates must also be prepared to stay away from home as necessary, according to need.
The candidate should also hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
