How You'll Contribute as our Junior Programmatic Trader
You'll be plugged into all aspects of this busy advertising technology business that will enable you to learn the ropes at speed. You'll have a good grasp of numbers, be a strong communicator and enjoy working as a member of a team.
Trainee Junior Trader, you will be working to traffic, monitor and ensure the delivery of online advertising campaigns. You will be working with Media agencies and advertisers to deliver their campaigns so a strategic eye and ability to draw insights from raw data is important.
In this role you will work closely to deliver an amazing service to internationally recognised clients. The emphasis on analysing data within this role is also highly important. In this role you will be trading online advertising placements and working to optimise towards client performance goals such as interactions, sales or brand recognition.
The role of trader is at the heart of our business and is a unique opportunity to work with both the commercial and quantitative sides of the business.
What you'll do
As a trader your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and managing client campaigns
- Continually optimising toward client goals
- Performance analysing & internal reporting
- Maximise and optimal utilisation of our DSPs to deliver campaigns
- Working with the commercial teams on exceeding clients' expectations
The successful applicant will be able to grow into the role based on their interests.
You will report to the Global Ad Operations Director
The Skills and Experience You Bring:
You do not need to have relevant experience or a degree - just a positive, tenacious, attitude and perhaps previous tenure in retail or the service industry. The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and able to draw insight from large datasets. You will be given lots of responsibility and huge opportunities for growth.
The right candidate must be a good multi-tasker, comfortable with Excel and data analysis and able to deliver an excellent client service.
You are known for being very attentive to detail and giving amazing client care. An out-going personality, you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You are motivated when working under pressure. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You're both analytical and numerate, but also a creative thinker - great at spotting and solving problems/issues. Proactivity and open mindset is key in this role as this is an always evolving industry. Interest in digital media and advertising.
