Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Owner to join our eMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record) product team. Working closely with both the eMAR Product Manager and Development team you will oversee all stages of product creation and translate strategy into tasks and priorities. Bringing previous healthcare experience you will communicate with internal teams and end users to deliver roadmap items and updates.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Product Manager to understand customer needs to create the product roadmap
- Work closely with the Product Manager to translate strategy into development tasks
- Acts as a liaison with the Development team, participating in scrum meetings and product sprints, and monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
- Manage the product back log and work to priorities based on changing requirements
- Communicate key updates to internal teams and end users
- Manage the bugs process
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience or a good understanding of the health and social care sector or medication management systems
- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding and knowledge of user-centred design principles
- Experience of working as a Product Owner
- Knowledge of scrum and agile software development methodology would be an advantage
