CREATIVE PRINT AND DIGITAL ARTWORKER
JUNIOR LEVEL 12 MONTH FTC
HYBRID WORKING FROM BISHOPSGATE

YOUR ROLE
The Creative Artworker is responsible for graphic design, art direction, production for print and digital.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Version-out design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and clients’ business strategies
- Execute and produce communications for diverse media
- Partner with the studio and agency design team in executing work
- Execute creative assignments as part of a team, as well as with other studio computer artists and services
- Creative artwork in a variety of styles and maintain consistently high standards of work that will enhance the Production-agency relationship
- Work in a clean and concise way to allow continuity of handover on jobs
- Work in our ManagePlus (WIP) system
- Use Approvals Plus (ProofHQ) for trafficking work when appropriate
- Show fiscal responsibility in support of the studio operation – ensuring that timesheets are filled out and all billable items are entered into the studio billing system
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- Must foster a positive team atmosphere
- Must be able to work flexible hours
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have a strong portfolio that shows typography and design skills
- Must have strong communication skills and artistic intuition
- Must have strong technical skills in order to create desired results easily and efficiently
- A strong sense of design/colour and the ability to perform as an assistant to the creative team in areas such as layout, design and image composition
- Strong knowledge and skills with software programs within the Mac environment
- Strong knowledge of CS, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Must be able to deal with a flexible process that is ever-evolving to meet client’s needs
- Strong typographic and mechanical preparation skills
- Must be able to work independently and within a team
- Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong creative vision, communication skills and problem solving abilities
BONUS SKILL-SET
- Any digital experience/knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Premiere
- Large Format Printing (Epsom)
- A keen interest or understanding of photography/studio lighting
