Are you looking to develop your career within Property? Do you have a keen interest in Investment Management? We have a brand new position within Real Assets where you will be working as part of a small team of Portfolio Associates supporting a number of funds and properties across the platform.
In the role you will be proving support to Asset Managers in the effective management of assets and operation of internal processes. The role will liaise across a number of Real Asset Funds with our external partners including managing agents, valuers and letting agents.
What you'll be doing- Property Management – liaising with managing agency & facilities manager, coordinating actions with 3parties.
- Asset Management Support – undertaking inspections, focusing on improving the quality of void units and their presentation, organising marketing & events to promote the leasing of void space where directed.
- Sustainability & Social Impact – Supporting the asset manager & fund to achieve their sustainability objectives & science-based targets through management & delivery of sustainability projects and tasks across allocated assets/ funds.
- Data Management - working closely with Real Assets Data Services to ensure all approvals, queries and rejections are managed in line with valuation and reporting deadlines.
- Reporting – working with managing agents to ensure rent collection and arrears reporting is in line with fund requirements. Working with finance operations to control and analyse asset non recoverable expenditure/budgets.
- Vizta by L&G – ensuring new occupiers are set-up on our occupier platform and liaise with managing agents to ensure documentation and properties remain up to date across the fund allocated
- Rating Appeals - Oversee process, ensuring the appropriate appointment of external advisors, and facilitate exchange of information as required so rating appeals are dealt with effectively for the funds designated to you
- An understanding or interest in the Investment Management industry
- Strong interest in and enthusiasm for the built environment
- Previous experience in and administrative role working with multiple stakeholders internal / external clients
- Able to build relationships with people at all levels of seniority
- Strong attention to detail and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills, primarily with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly team-orientated with the ability to work to and share best practice
