OVERVIEW:
Are you our next Junior Photographer? Gymshark are looking for a Junior Photographer to join the ever-growing in-house Photographic team, who will help shape our future by creating game-changing content for a multitude of social media platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Working both individually and as part of a team to produce game-changing content for the Gymshark brand.
- Creating unique and imaginative concepts that stand out and maintain the high standards Gymshark has become known for in its content.
- Working closely with the wider Studio team to collaborate on larger projects.
- Owning internal shoot briefs and projects, working closely with stakeholders from across Gymshark's worldwide team to understand requirements and deliver on objectives and KPI's.
- Undertaking key Digi Operator tasks maintaining a smooth flow of content from shoot day to Production. Knowledge of Capture One is a must.
- Working hands on with industry standard photography equipment to create cutting edge work that is on trend and engages with Gymshark's core audience.
- Understanding & working knowledge of photography post-production.
- Working with various members of the wider 'Campaign & Creative & Studio' team(s) to collaborate on projects, bringing a wealth of photographic specific knowledge that will contribute towards bettering the projects outcome.
- Constantly pushing yourself to learn new skills and develop as a image-maker and creative.
- Constantly pushing the wider photographic team to think differently by challenging ideas and bringing new ways of thinking to the team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Proven track record in photography, demonstrated by portfolio.
- Great understanding in operating various studio, camera & infrastructure equipment & platforms.
- A good understanding of lighting within Studio & location environments.
- Experience in image editing with a social media/mobile first focus, within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
- A strong passion for collaborating with like-minded creatives, designers, producers, etc to create game-changing content.
- Ability to adapt and make quick decisions in a fast-paced professional environment.
- A solid understanding of media and the marketing industry as a whole.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal and inter-departmental.
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
