What you will be doing...
Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, the Junior Performance Marketing Specialist will join a team which plan, manage, and optimise marketing budgets with a focus on paid search and PPC activity. You will be a key member of the marketing and wider business team, working closely with key partners and enjoying the numerous benefits of these close relationships.
What will you do in the role?
You will manage and optimise paid search campaigns on a daily basis, keeping track of budget pacing and making recommendations on account performance- You will plan, develop, build and optimise large-scale paid search activity, whilst working closely with other teams including Brand, SEO, Outreach, Data Science, Analytics, Social , Aggregators, and Affiliates to maximise returns from data driven activity.
- You will help the performance marketing team by staying up to date with the latest search trends and tools to improve campaign activity, maintain best in class accounts and stay relevant with the latest platform developments and supplier recommendations
- You will be expected to identify opportunities that can support new growth areas for the business through paid search, a data driven, analytical approach are essential to ensure we maximise our return on investment.
- You’ll have the opportunity to bring and implement new ideas to our activity, so a progressive mindset is essential
- You will be able to take advantage of the latest betas and product releases that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays gets access to thanks to its large-scale activity, with a high level of support, interaction and training from our key partners including Google and Microsoft.
- You’ll need to stay fully up to date with key paid search platforms and their evolving features; planning, forecasting (modelling), utilising our large datasets and reporting to identify key trends and opportunities to improve performance.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
- No prior experience is required for this opportunity, but you’ll need:
- Strong interest in Digital Marketing, specifically Paid search (PPC)
- A keen eye for detail, process, analysis and reporting
- Comfortable working with data sets to present ideas and demonstrate opportunities
- A creative approach to problem solving
- Strong focus on team-work with excellent communication skills
- An eagerness to learn
- Any experience with either PPC or Paid Social & Display would be useful but is not essential
