Bumble is looking for a flexible, culture-centric, curious, and proactive Junior HR Business Partner to join our growing team. Based in the UK, you will work closely with the HRBP team and cross functional People & Culture partners and have a high level of autonomy for solving day-to-day people and organisational challenges with people-related solutions. You will work closely with employees and managers to advise, challenge and support them as our business continues to evolve and scale.
This role will report to the Senior HR Business Partner based in London, with a focus on partnering with key members of our executive leadership team.
Bumble is growing fast, so the ideal candidate will be fast paced, flexible and open to an evolving scope of work, with experience in handling international employment across multiple territories.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide day-to day support to leaders that will include anything from answering questions around policy application on specific employee cases, compensation philosophy discussions, driving talent and people development plans, to ensuring that day-to-day performance management guidance is provided to leaders.
Providing coaching and guidance to ICs and managers.
Working on a wide range of strategic people-related matters and projects including team structure and optimisation, employee engagement and retention, organisational culture and change management.
Collaborating with the Compensation & Benefits team to research and advise on salary benchmarking, pay bandings and other reward mechanisms.
Overseeing performance management processes and initiatives; collaborating with the wider People & Culture team to design and implement new performance management workflows as part of our Workday rollout.
Partnering with the larger team on the implementation, administration, management of people-centric strategies, processes, and systems throughout the organisation to build and maintain culture across our global team, including our people operations team.
Advising and consulting on the staffing strategy and hiring decisions of leaders and other key strategic positions in partnership with the recruitment team; develop/drive succession and talent planning efforts that ensure teams have the talent needed to deliver on their strategy.
Work closely with the HR Operations Specialist, providing knowledge and support on local legislations, enabling the company to make sure all initiatives work well in the UK.
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate will have experience in startup and scale-up organisations (+ additional experience in a larger organisation would be a bonus); in particular we are seeking someone who is comfortable solving problems and delivering projects autonomously as part of a small HR team.
Solid knowledge of employee relations processes and relevant employment legislation (additional experience or knowledge of other countries including; France, & Spain would be highly advantageous).
Accustomed to working closely & at pace with managers as a strategic thought partner, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed.
Adept at working with data and spreadsheets including pivot tables, lookups, etc. Experience with Workday is a bonus.
