Orthopaedic Physiotherapist - Private Acutel Hospital
Hatfield - Hertfordshire
Up to £30,000 + excellent benefits
37.5 hours per week

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a state-of-the-art hospital in Hatfield. The Hospital boasts brand new equipment as well as some of the top GPs and consultants in their fields. Providing excellent care to both NHS & private patients, the hospital is continuing to expand and is looking for physiotherapists to complement their teams and bring their experience and drive to the hospital.
The hospital is currently looking for an Inpatient Physiotherapist with some experience in a similar field. Reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager, the successful Physiotherapist will deliver face-to-face assessment and treatment of various of post-operative Orthopaedics within a solely Inpatient environment.
The position is full time with attractive hours providing excellent work/life balance for the successful candidate.

Working within the Inpatients department, the successful Physiotherapist will be required to assist in the provision of therapy services for elective orthopaedic and general surgery patients, and pre-assessments to meet the needs of the service.
The role will require you to educate, train and advise patients, carers and other relevant healthcare professionals in specific physiotherapeutic management. You will work autonomously, utilising your analytical skills to form an accurate diagnosis, rehabilitation prognosis and guide the patient regarding future prospects such as work, sport, function etc.
You will be liaising with orthopaedic consultants and GPs as appropriate to best meet the assessed needs of the patient, as well as carrying out appropriate clinical risk assessments and where necessary, onward referral.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Registered with the HCPC
- CSP membership
- Experience of assessing diagnosing and treating a range of Orthopaedic cases either as a Student or first year post qualification
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of independently managing case loads
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills
- Demonstrated Computer Skills
- Sound written numerical and verbal communication skills
- Planning and organisational skills
