About the role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join as a Middle Office Analyst within our Options team. The Middle Office Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Options Trading desk by ensuring that trades are accurately booked and reconciled, monitoring and managing risk exposures, and providing operational support to the trading desk. Full training will be provided.
Duties will include:
- Supporting treasury operations
- Executing FX swaps, spot and forward transactions
- Assisting risk managers: managing default trades, sending margin calls
- Booking FX trades including options into back-office system
- Managing expiration/settlement and life-cycle events of options
- Educated with a relevant numerical degree (Math, Finance, Economics, etc)
- Keen attention to detail
- A hunger to learn
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel
- An understanding of the FX market is suitable but not mandatory as full training is provided.
