Levels of Responsibility The post holder will be expected to take personal responsibility for their own projects, working independently, but within the educational governance framework, and working within a prospectively agreed job plan. Education Contribute to the assessment of students in collaboration with medical colleagues and take part as examiners in the annual OSCE exams. Teach and observe history taking and physiological systems examination and a range of practical clinical skills as required by the undergraduate curriculum. Contribute to inter-professional teaching of history taking and examination techniques and clinical skills where appropriate.
Regularly review/update teaching materials amend as indicated by evidence/research. Contribute to research activities and make use of developmental opportunities to improve self and the service. To support the department in ensuring educators within the department have appropriate and up to date clinical skills. Co-lead on a certain learner group alongside another member of the Undergraduate Medical education team.
