Reporting to: Marketing Manager

Responsible for: The creation and delivery of marketing event strategies for a portfolio of events and media brands

About you: You will need to be creative, confident, and self-driven with the ability to adapt and create new innovative content to drive event attendees and suppliers/sponsors

The contracted hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm in our Hertford offices. You will be expected to work from home on Monday and Friday and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. (This is subject to change)

Role Summary: As Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of marketing strategy for a number of events and media brands, adapting each marketing strategy to individual industries and in line with the overall company brand and ethos.

Key responsibilities

  • Delivery of in-house event and media brand marketing emails, to include content, production, and data specification
  • Maintenance and adding new content for the FEL website and microsites to optimise its performance
  • Delivery of 3rd party promotions and partnerships according to business objectives of driving events and or revenue and or awareness of the Forum brand and subsequent events
  • Liaising with the relevant event managers and sales staff, to create all necessary specifications and marketing tools to help lead generation for all Forums and Summits
  • Working with event and sales teams to plan successful campaigns based on past analytics
  • Work across all brand and communications teams to make sure all campaign activity is both aligned and integrated
  • Measure all marketing initiatives against pre-determined objectives and adapt as necessary on review of performance.
  • Planning and organising marketing collateral for attendance at external events

Skills Required

  • Ability to create revenue-generating content to market events and media products
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • A creative approach with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas and revenue-generating marketing projects
  • The ability to work as a team, self-driven with the ability to work under pressure
  • The confidence to 'sell' your ideas
  • Attention to detail
  • Good business sense and budgeting skills
