Junior Marketing Assistant

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role of Junior Marketing Assistant is a broad and varied entry-level Marketing role in a highly creative, luxury industry. You will be organised, hands-on, and creative, passionate about textiles and interior design with an interest in photography and/or graphic design. In this role, you will be supporting the Marketing Team on projects that include photoshoots, video shoots, exhibitions, and events, website management and merchandising, digital marketing campaigns and updating and co-ordinating the distribution of marketing collateral. You will also be responsible for supporting the external press agency managing press loans and liaising with all our third-party marketing partners, ensuring they are updated with all recent brand content and news. You will be a positive person, a real team player with a “can do” attitude. In your role you will work with other departments to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects and marketing activities. You will enjoy working as part of a small and friendly team in a beautiful office situated in the heart of Royal Windsor just opposite the castle. It is a full-time permanent role, with a salary of between £23k and £28k DOE. It will be office-based 5 days a week.

Photoshoots, Exhibitions, Events, and Presentations

· Supporting the Marketing Manager, on the co-ordination, and logistical aspects of shoots, events, exhibitions, and presentations i.e.

· Creating the shoot briefs

· Liaising with Stylists

· Liaising with warehouse teams

· Updating shoot budgets

· Sourcing items and researching locations

· SAP stock transfers

· Creating shoot packing lists and organising transport

· Packing and unpacking the van

· Organising lunches, parking, and other requirements of the team at the shoot

· Creating sets of new collection fabric samples for stylists and others

· General assistance on the day (ironing/lunches/packing etc.)

· Unloading the van and returning goods

Press loans management

· Liaising with PR team about available stock for loans

· Processing press loans on SAP

· Liaising with PR and relevant departments on orders release

· Chasing returns and close press loans entries on SAP when returned

· Tracking press features with loaned products and producing a report

· Keeping the press library up to date on the Marketing shared folder

· Uploading press clippings to websites

Websites and Social Media

Supporting the Digital Marketing Executive and Creative Marketing Executive with the management of the brand websites and social media channels including the following:

- Merchandising new collections and content categories

- Selecting the co-ordinating products for each new fabric

- Taking moodboard and other inspirational images and videos for social media posts

- Supporting the creation and activation of email campaigns

- Supporting with other digital marketing tasks as required

Marketing Collateral

Supporting Creative Marketing Executive with the updating of marketing collateral including the following:

· Sales tools

· Brand presentations

· Monthly product focus communications

Other

· Monitoring and triaging the Marketing email inbox

· Supporting the Design Team on ad-hoc creative projects

· Wrapping and packing gift bags for press and VIP events

· Support other Marketing activities as required

Skills and qualities:

· A passion for design and interiors

· A quick learner who happy to learn on the job

· Someone who is not afraid of physically demanding work and long days from time to time

· Someone who can juggle lots of small tasks and can prioritise their workflow

· Someone confident enough to communicate with senior managers in a courteous and respectful manner

· A qualification and/or interest in art and design or marketing

· An interest in photography with a flair for composition and technical skills would be helpful

· Some experience in a fast-paced office environment would be beneficial

· Some experience in the luxury and/or interior design sector beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
