Job description
Cranford House School is recruiting for a Junior IT Technician, who, under the guidance of the IT Network Director, will be the first point of contact for all IT users throughout the School. In addition to providing first line support, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all IT tickets raised via email, Teams, telephone, and the IT helpdesk and will support the Network Director with various projects throughout the year. There is real opportunity to add value across all areas of the school.
Experience of Windows operating systems is essential, as are good communication skills and the ability to solve problems under pressure. Knowledge of Office 365, including the standard Microsoft Office Apps, would be an advantage.
The school has ambitious plans for improving IT which will provide a great opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in projects alongside the Network Director.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm. Due to the nature of this role, there may be a requirement to support outside of normal working hours on occasions.
This is a full-time, year-round role with 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
