Junior In-House Architect in Construction London, England
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Architect to join our team in the construction industry. Requiring good communication skills, self-motivation, passion for learning and enhancing ones knowledge, multi-tasking and working in a team. Working alongside experienced Architects, Interior Designers and Project managers.
Responsibilities:
Designing and preparing presentations, mood boards and working drawings.
Producing shop drawings.
Creating schedules of finishes and others.
Provide BOQ's (Bill of Quantities) for construction projects.
Issue drawings for site, ensuring compliance with building regulations and client specifications.
Order architectural materials for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
Measure sites for onsite application and ensure accurate application of architectural design concepts.
Preform site measured surveys and create existing drawings, elevations, and sections.
Collaborate with other members of the design and construction team to ensure seamless projects delivery.
Maintain accurate records of project timelines, expenses, and deliverables.
Requirements:
Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and any rendering software.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Excellent self-time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure.
A passion for innovative architectural design and a willingness to learn and grow within the field.
