£26,000 to £29,000

The School: Newton Prep is a successful and dynamic school for children between the ages of 3 and 13 situated at the heart of one of London’s most exciting areas in Nine Elms; conveniently situated close to Battersea Park and Queenstown Road BR stations and the new London Underground Northern Line Battersea Power Station. We have high standards and expectations and are interested in education in the fullest sense. We seek to ensure that our pupils benefit from a proper balance of academic excellence, fun and activity combined with strong pastoral support.
The Role: The IT Department at Newton Prep is an integral part of the day-to-day life of the School, being both forward thinking and innovative. We require a proactive and motivated team worker, with good communication skills, who is able to work within a structured IT support/helpdesk environment, to join our school IT department. Your role is to provide front line technical advice and support to staff and pupils in relation to IT and audio visual for school events, assemblies and productions.
Your working hours are from 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a one hour unpaid lunch break.
We are keen to hear from applicants who are looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the IT education sector. We are looking for someone with good communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure. You will have GCSE Maths and English. Experience in an educational setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
