As Junior HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact, managing incoming calls and emails from staff and managers, providing initial advice, guidance and support on a broad range of HR issues; including disciplinary and grievance, sickness absence management, flexible working, performance management, in line with company policy and procedures and employment legislation. You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of ER issues, preparing, reviewing and processing letters, meeting minutes and other documents as needed, seeking guidance and escalating cases to the Senior HR Advisor on more complex matters.
This is a very busy role so you will need to be highly organised with the ability to handle a fluctuating workload, respond quickly to priorities and have high attention to detail and levels of accuracy.
The suitable candidate for this role will have an entry level experience in HR and will have worked within a supporting HR role previously. Ideally you will possess an HR specific qualification, though this is not essential. You will work in a confidential manner and have an excellent eye for detail. You will need to be self-motivated and able to work at a fast pace. You will develop and maintain effective working relationships and thrive under the pressure of meeting challenging deadlines.
Your excellent organisational skills and working knowledge of IT packages including work, mail merges and excel will allow you to succeed. You will be expected to be able to work independently and part of a team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding business within an ambitious and motivated team.
