Job description
We are looking for a driven, creative individual to help support the Group Lead Designer and wider design team to deliver a wide range of marketing materials throughout the Reconomy Group and between our endorsed brands, consisting of Reconomy, Reconomy Trade, Valpak, ACM, AWS Nationwide, Casepak, Eurokey, Waste Source, RLG, Noventiz and ReBOUND.
This will be an initial 6-month project cover role, with the potential for this to turn into a full-time position.
We are currently in the process of some branding work over the next 6-months plus so are looking for support and cover during this period to both help with this and the normal day-to-day workload.
The role involves taking briefs from within the group's marketing teams, as well as other teams throughout the business and converting them into well thought out designs in multiple formats including brochures, leaflets, digital assets, exhibition graphics, PowerPoint presentations, templated documents, plus much more to ensure consistency throughout all literature and design work, while working together with the Group Lead Designer to manage your schedule.
You will be responsible for artwork throughout the individual companies and group of companies while working alongside other members of the marketing team to make sure the business has all the right tools needed to help generate business.
Your role will be key in communicating our environmental and sustainable message in a fresh and eye-catching way, whilst bringing fresh ideas to the industry (industry knowledge not essential).
Working under pressure and at a fast pace due to a quick turnaround nature is key, and have the ability to juggle a variety of jobs at the same time to manage your workload.
Requirements
- Proficient in the InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Microsoft Office Suite
- Other Adobe CC software plus digital experience is desirable, but not essential
- Working as part of a team on a variety of projects simultaneously
- Understanding the use of colours, typography and printing processes
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri: 9am-5:30pm
