Junior Graphic Designer
Full Job Title – Graphic Designer / Marketing Assistant. This is a fully office-based role.
Ninehundred Communications Group are looking to expand their marketing team and are looking to recruit a full time Graphic Designer based in Doncaster.
About the role:
This role is permanent and full-time, based in our main office working with a small but established team of designers. As a graphic designer you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including branding, marketing materials, digital designs, and event planning. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their design skills and grow within a creative environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for design. This candidate will have experience working with numerous different design platforms within the Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
- Cultivating strong and beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders
- Managing the production of marketing materials; including leaflets, brochures, newsletters, e-mailers and occasionally videos.
- In-house photography and videography.
- Handing social media accounts.
- Contributing to creating strong marketing campaigns.
- Event planning and production.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a design-based field. (Graphic Design preferred)
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. Mainly, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, copywriting, and design skills.
- Excellent communication skills: the ability to express yourself verbally and in writing.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and organising your work in accordance with priority
A creative portfolio showcasing your work is essential.
Permanent, full time:
- Salary £20,000 - £22,000 DOE
- 20 days’ holiday, rising to 25 days.
- Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with an hour for lunch.
