Role Description

The Junior Graphic Designer’s primary role is to support the Marketing & Communications team, effectively contributing to marketing campaigns and content creation, across all DF Concerts brands. This role will support the Graphic Designer to maintain and develop all aspects of graphic design for DF Concerts & Events, across a variety of digital, print, motion, etc. It is essential that you are creative with the ability to communicate your ideas effectively.

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Experience working within a fast-paced design / marketing department and/or have studied Design and keen to progress in a career in design in live music.
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud. In particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Understanding of the design process, from brief to final execution, and all the key delivery channels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Proven ability in the creative process and ability to deliver projects on time.
  • Experience of editing and producing video content for digital platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience in following and executing under design brand guidelines. Ability to communicate and create branded work as brand guidelines would be a strong bonus.
  • Experience of creating design artwork for social media and digital advertising.
  • Understanding of current design trends and music industry marketing.

What the role includes

  • Support the Graphic Designer with the creation of design assets for all DF brands
  • Follow brand guidelines to produce artwork and assets for all brands
  • Design and deliver exciting, engaging, and consistent content for all DF Concerts social media, website, and email to drive sales, engagement, brand awareness and support marketing campaigns.
  • Artworking festival and event creative for both online and offline platforms
  • Create and deliver all outdoor and stadium design requirements including parking passes, staff handbook, cartoon map, wristbands, etc.
  • Edit/produce video content for all DF Concerts brands.
  • Collaborate with other graphic designers and content creators on large scale projects and ensure all design materials are aligned and follow specified brand guidelines.
  • In conjunction with Marketing team identify and develop new ways of marketing through new technologies and keep abreast of industry and competitor’s activity within design and marketing
  • Undertake other activities in support of the marketing team as requested
