We are looking for a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to join our marketing team, and champion our branding across our internal and external efforts. Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and marketers, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional outputs across online, digital, social, print, and video, as well as developing a range of high-quality materials across a range of research outputs to support our business development efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work in harmony with the Marketing team and wider HRW team to create a variety of tools and templates including (but not limited to) slide decks, infographics, logos, iconography, and whitepapers
- Assist the Marketing team with providing guidance and advice to the team as needed on brand best practices
- Regularly monitor and update HRW branded templates, both internal and external
- Consistently look for ways to optimise the team workspace from a design perspective
- Take ownership of design projects, from conception to delivery and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the business
Requirements
- You’ll have a stunning portfolio with an outstanding range of work, all with rationale and evidence of the process behind them
- You have min 1-2 years’ experience in a graphic design role (ideally in professional services) and are looking for a role you can “own” and add your own creative spin to (will also consider graduates with relevant skills)
- You will be highly creative, digitally adept, and passionate in understanding and executing briefs to the highest possible standards with the resources provided
- You will assist marketing in making smart creative decisions to promote HRW’s brand and will also offer support and guidance to the Senior Leadership Group and Marketing Team
- You will be a people-person with the ability to collaborate across the business
- You are passionate about all things design
Core Competencies:
- Graphic Design degree or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of visual storytelling to turn complex statistical modelling into creative pieces of art
- In-depth presentation experience using PowerPoint
- An outstanding knowledge of the Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (Premiere Pro and After Effects are desirable but not essential)
- Working knowledge of a project management tool (ideally Monday.com)
- Understanding of working within a set of brand guidelines
- Ability to own project management of complex, ambitious, and collaborative initiatives
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with people at all levels of the business
