Key summary of the role and responsibilities:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and naturally creative Junior Graphic and Motion designer with excellent design and technical ability to join us in Studio Rx, a division of IPG Health Production. This is a diverse role which will see you challenged creatively and technically in motion and graphic design. Working closely with the Senior Animator and Studio team, you will develop motion graphic and video editing skills as well as learn how to create static storyboards and assets in preparation for motion. This role will give the Junior Graphic and Motion Designer a tremendous opportunity to learn on the job with experienced animators and designers, on projects spanning across events materials, websites, social media campaigns, emails, apps, web banners, interaction design, and client comms.

- Have a strong knowledge in digital platforms, and feed this into every-day work
- Ensure work adheres to specified guidelines
- Are able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas, and able to take direction and collaborate as a team player
- Are able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
What you'll be doing:
As part of the Studio Rx team, you’ll be responsible for the following key activities:
- Working closely with the Studio team, learn how to design a static storyboard, and prepare assets as required for final animation
- Working from storyboard right through to animation to create compositions as directed by the Senior Animator as part of a collaboration on larger projects
- Taking briefs from Project Managers, Creative & Art Directors and Account Managers, to take on your own storyboarded animations and edits
- The ability to interpret a verbal brief and add your own creative nuances while creating motion and transitions for animations and edits
- The ability to learn to edit footage in Premier Pro to a music track and also to be able to re-edit the music track to suit the length of the edited footage
- Have a good understanding of how After Effects and Premier work together and further develop an understanding of the principles of animation/editing best practice
- Keeping files organised, and adhering to internal processes
- working to timings and deadlines provided
- Responsible for maintaining version and quality control of projects
What you'll bring:
- Qualification or experience in motion graphics and design
- Experience in an agency role/environment whether in paid work or work placement
- Working knowledge of After-Effects / Premier Pro / InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude to learning and development, and pride in the work you are producing
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team, as well as independently
