Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Geoscience Consultant to support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects on behalf of Intertek’s clients, with an emphasis on subsea survey, cable installation, planning and engineering, risk assessment and project management. The role provides excellent opportunities to work on multiple projects that are exciting, cutting edge, and varied.

The number of years of experience are not the benchmark – it’s about you, your skills and relevant experience and where you want your career to go. Ideally you will be available for hybrid working from our office in Liphook, but we also have options for flexible working – we won’t let location be a barrier.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant technical subject
  • Ideally some experience within the offshore hydrographic, geophysical and/or geotechnical survey industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
  • Strong numeracy and data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements for offshore projects is desirable
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to varied and multiple project requirements
  • Interest in or knowledge of GIS
