a Junior Footwear Technologist.
Reporting to the QC Manager & Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will be offered guidance, training
and possible future progression opportunities.
This office based role would be an ideal for someone who is a strong communicator and a problem solver who is detail orientated, with a passion for our product.
The successful applicants skill set will include, but is not limited to:
A creative approach to problem solving.
Enthusiastic with a real willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills on email, video calls and on the phone.
Competent computer user and a keen eye for detail.
An understanding of chemistry would be an advantage - but not essential.
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Analysing worn & unworn returns reports & physical returns.
Communicating with suppliers regarding faulty product.
Assessment of samples for fit & construction from factories & communicating improvements required.
Managing samples through the different sample types.
Liaising with the buying department on a regular basis.
Final checking of deliveries against samples.
Dealing with queries about product from other departments.
The successful applicant will be based from our J4 Bathgate office (Monday-Friday 8am -4pm) but
must also be flexible to attend our Livingston office when required and will include an element of business
travel to Europe and potentially further afield.
