We've got an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Assistant to join our Finance team at our EMEA Head Office in Chadderton in Oldham. As part of this team, you will apply knowledge gained of financial terms and principles to an authentic real-life experience. You will work under the guidance and leadership of experienced Finance Managers to assist with a wide range of duties including analysing data, preparing financial reports and learning about varied accounting activities.
Job Duties:
- Assist with month-end financial reports
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Help with accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations
- Perform monthly revenue and operating income variance analysis to understand better performance
- Conduct financial analysis to help drive the business including growth and financial profitability through qualitive and quantitative analysis. (Monthly, quarterly variance analysis, product line margin, cost analysis, working capital and cash flow)
- Work with regional finance leaders to support key finance tasks
- Provide analytical support to senior leadership on key business initiative to ensure effective financial decisions are being made to support the growth of the business and then assist in the monitoring of those decisions.
- Develop relationships with key functional leaders to assist in the validation of data analyses and drive accurate reporting Provide finance support for the business functional leaders as required
YOU MUST HAVE
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting & Finance Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, or PowerPoint
