Job description
Robert Walters are working with an established business based in Warrington who are seeking to recruit a junior Finance Analyst.The successful candidate will be working closely with the sales and operations teams to evaluate and onboard new business opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Group Commercial Analyst. This role is the ideal step for an early AAT studier with good excel/systems abilities wanting to gain exposure in a fast paced business with huge opportunity for progression.
Key Responsibilities
To assist in the production of weekly and monthly reports focussing on client profitability, which will be used by the senior management team to make strategic decisions.
- To analyse prospect profitability using cost models to advise the sales team on selling prices
- Assist in updating cost models used to analyse new business opportunities.
- Manipulate data to provide useful information to a wide range of stakeholders.
- To respond to ad-hoc queries regarding volume, revenue and profitability figures by client.
- To assist in producing a trading to profile report monitoring new customer volumes
- To produce new client rate cards, liaising with other functions in the business such as sales
- To upload rates into billing systems and assist in resolving invoice queries.
- Update different types of rate cards every time there is a price increase from suppliers in a

Key Requirements
Relevant experience working within a finance function

- Demonstratable experience with data analysis tools such as Excel
- Computer literate – good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word and able to
