We are currently searching for a Junior Finance Analyst to join the team.
Role Purpose:
An exciting opportunity within the commercial finance function at Belstaff. This newly created position will support two Senior Finance Analysts and will play an important part in helping to assess business performance and aid commercial decision making to drive the business to the next level of growth and profitability. The role will suit an individual who has a natural inquisitiveness and a desire to engage with the wider business.
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:
- Reporting of sales performance across wholesale, retail stores and eCommerce
- Tracking the wholesale order book
- Reporting of wholesale agent commissions and preparation of their statements
- Reconciliation of sales transactions and data
- Maintaining the property portfolio schedule
- Preparing direct-to-consumer sales and property accruals
- Maintaining retail store staff commission reports
- Reconciling royalty sales
- Forging close links with the wider business, particularly the commercial departments
- Gathering data for the annual insurance renewal
- Other ad-hoc financial support as and when required
You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in a Finance/Data related role (either as a Junior Finance Analyst or someone looking to transfer across from a different area of Data/Finance)
- Experience of preparing and submitting regular business reports, ensuring accuracy in completion.
- Strong Excel skills and is comfortable working in the wider Microsoft Office environment
- Experience of collaborating with colleagues from both Finance and the wider business
- An awareness of a retail and/or wholesale business
- Experience of ERP systems/NetSuite. This would be an ideal, but not essential
