We'd like you to join us as a Junior Finance Analyst in our finance team in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The Finance team provides a shared finance service centre to support the national operations of the businesses which operate in various aspects of the specialist care sector.
What you'll be doing:
The Junior finance analyst is an entry level role within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in a high performing environment. The FP&A team’s purpose is to provide accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis to the operational management team and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly Key performance indicators (KPIs) for the group.
- Prepare financial reports for both internal and external use.
- Provide support to divisional FD’s analysing financial data comparing to budget and or prior year.
- Support FP&A team to produce reports for external stakeholders.
- Support FP&A team in providing financial business cases for new developments or acquisition opportunities.
- Scrutinise revenue and cost centres within the group to provide opportunities for savings.
- Support Finance analyst and FP&A director with ad-hoc project work.
What you'll have:
- Familiar with MS Office Suite. High level excel skills are a necessity.
- High level of accuracy and good attention to detail is essential to be successful.
- Positive enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.
- Must have an analytical problem-solving approach.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have transferable skills either through a similar role or through education.
